Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to own and optimize equipment indices, drive KPI improvements, and lead preventive maintenance initiatives in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.

You will collaborate with process and manufacturing engineers to meet module objectives, coach junior staff, and ensure compliance with TS16949 standards while optimizing costs and uptime.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics / Materials / Material Sciences Engineering.
• Proven teamwork and leadership with strong communication and analytical skills.
• High integrity and accountability in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and improve indices: Quality, Uptime and Cost.
• Sustain equipment KPI and drive continuous improvements to enhance performance.
• Coordinate with process and manufacturing Engineers to meet module objectives.
• Plan Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and optimize PM procedures.
• Coach and mentor subordinates and provide performance feedback.
• Document Corrective Action and Best Known Methods for ROI.
• Participate in CIP programs to optimize equipment utilization and maintenance cost.
• Coordinate new equipment start-up from facilities hookup to production acceptance.
• Become the technical expert for the respective machine specialization.
• Utilize SPACE to monitor SPC charts and JMP for engineering experiments.
• Self-audit and update specifications to TS16949 Quality Standard requirements.
