Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Typically 2–4 years of work experience in engineering design or related field or advanced degree with little or no work experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for low to moderately complex products and systems, ensuring cost effectiveness.
• Participates in project teams with internal and outsourced partners to ensure reliable, high-quality outcomes.
• Develops and implements test plans; validates mechanical, electrical, software, and other specifications.
• Inspects performance of machinery and tools to verify efficiency and identifies corrective actions.
• Optimizes concepts and designs using analytical and physical assessments to boost efficiency and quality.
• Delivers designs and program deliverables on time and within budget.
• Collaborates with development partners on engineering design and development.
