Job summary

SULTANA CATERING PTE. LTD.

in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Cook to lead food preparation, ensure quality, and uphold hygiene standards while supporting smooth daily kitchen operations. You will handle Indian and local cuisines, supervise junior cooks and kitchen helpers, manage stock and ingredients, and work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on food safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of cooking experience in relevant settings.
• Experience in Indian cuisine is a plus.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards.
• Oversee Indian and/or local cuisine preparation depending on section.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality and presentation.
• Supervise junior cooks and kitchen helpers.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with stock checks and ingredient shortages.
• Support catering orders and large-volume food prep when required.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety requirements.
