Job summary

Neste invites a seasoned Operations Commissioning & Start-Up Lead to join our Tuas refinery team in Singapore. You will spearhead the operative commissioning and start-up activities, coordinating across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and process disciplines.

You will manage resources, develop procedures, and ensure safe, compliant, and timely handover to Operations. Strong leadership and risk management are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Commissioning and start-up experience is essential.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong process knowledge & troubleshooting ability.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with independent technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Commissioning and Start-up strategy with detailed execution plans and schedules across all systems.
• Define and oversee commissioning resources and vendor representatives with the Project Manager.
• Plan operations resource allocation for designated units and monitor progress against schedules.
• Create pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures aligned with design specs and safety standards.
• Oversee testing, safety reviews and completion processes, including handover to Operations.
