Job summary

Neste is seeking a Deputy Shift Supervisor to join the Singapore Tuas Refinery Operations team. You will manage daily shift activities, coordinate with engineers and technicians, and ensure safe, reliable plant operation in a dynamic refinery setting.

You will act as Site Incident Controller for your area and may replace the Shift Supervisor when required, contributing to safety, efficiency and continuous improvement of production plans.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidates with relevant supervisory experience will be considered if no engineering diploma.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the assigned refinery unit according to the production plan.
• Act as Site Incident Controller for the designated area.
• Lead day-to-day shift activities and coordinate with Shift Supervisor and technicians.
• Review and improve Operations NMS Work Procedures and risk assessments for the unit.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting with the team and ensure safety practices (PTW/LOTO).
• Provide coverage for Shift Supervisor during absence.
