Job summary

Neste is seeking a Deputy Shift Supervisor to join the Singapore Tuas Refinery Operations team. You will focus on managing daily shift activities and work closely with the Shift Supervisor, Technicians and Operating Engineers to ensure safe, reliable and efficient refinery operation.

The role requires a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with preferably 3 years of supervisory experience, and a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Disciplined leadership with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ability to coordinate shift activities and resources.
• Strong problem solving and decision making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate refinery units safely, reliably and efficiently according to the production plan.
• Lead daily shift activities and act as SIC when required.
• Ensure correct execution of permits, risk assessments and safety controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, and liaise with Shift Supervisor.
