Job summary

International facility engineering pte. ltd. is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial, procurement and cost-management aspects of semiconductor facility construction projects in Singapore.

You will develop commercial strategies, oversee budgeting, contract negotiations, and financial forecasting, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets and contractual obligations. The role requires collaboration with clients, contractors and internal teams, with travel/relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in commercial management within semiconductor, industrial construction, or high-tech building sectors.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, procurement and cost management for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for each project, aligning with business goals.
• Lead budgeting, cost estimations, and financial planning from inception through completion.
• Negotiate and finalize client contracts, subcontracts, and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage risks or deviations.
• Oversee procurement for materials, subcontractors and services with cost-effective practices.
• Provide monthly reports and forecasts to senior management; monitor cash flow and profitability.
