Job summary

NTT Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Asset/CMDB Manager to oversee IT asset lifecycle, CMDB accuracy, and governance, enabling effective IT service management, compliance, and operational decision-making.

You will own CMDB, manage licenses, perform audits, drive CI relationships and service mapping, and collaborate with Infrastructure, Applications, and Service Management teams. This role requires strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant IT asset and CMDB experience.
• Experience with CMDB and IT asset management tools.
• Strong ITIL knowledge across Configuration, Asset, Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
• Experience in software license management and compliance.
• Knowledge of CMDB governance, service mapping, discovery, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, audit, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, licenses).
• Own and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity of configuration items (CIs).
• Define and enforce CMDB governance, policies, and standards.
• Establish and maintain CI relationships and service mapping.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Application, and Service Management teams.
• Support ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release) using CMDB data.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliation of asset and CMDB data.
• Manage software license compliance and optimization.
• Drive automation and discovery tools integration (e.g., SCCM, ServiceNow Discovery).
• Provide reporting, dashboards, and insights on asset utilization and compliance.
• Manage vendors and procurement coordination for IT assets.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform bi-annual audits of configuration items and asset inventories.
• Maintain asset registers and inventory reconciliation processes.
• Ensure configuration changes are linked to approved change records.
• Manage software license compliance and asset lifecycle processes.
