Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to own the Out of the Box experience for Dyson Connected products, including pairing the Dyson Link app with connected devices and building APIs and microservices in the AWS cloud.

You will use Node.js, C# or the best tool for the job, running in containers or serverless functions, and drive features from inception to delivery with paired programming and mobbing. We follow agile practices and encourage evolving standards.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS cloud platform proficiency.
• Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
• Solid development in DotNet Core or Node.js, with Python know-how.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and monitoring.
• Experience building production software with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy microservices and serverless apps on AWS.
• Ensure scalable, secure, high-performance designs.
• Integrate with CI/CD pipelines, containers, and orchestration.
• Monitor production issues and lead their resolution.
• Build ETL pipelines and data structures for analytics.
• Develop dashboards with Tableau to enable data analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
• Promote design pattern best practices and new tech adoption.
