Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to own the Out of the Box experience for Dyson Connected products, including pairing the Dyson Link app with connected devices and building APIs and microservices on AWS.

You will use Node.js, C#, or other suitable languages, run in containers or as serverless functions in AWS, collaborate in paired programming and mobbing, and contribute to evolving engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in cloud architecture and development.
• Proficiency in AWS and cloud-native tech.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Proficient in .NET Core or NodeJS; Python knowledge.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy microservices and serverless apps on AWS.
• Ensure designs are scalable, secure, high-performance.
• Integrate with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Monitor production issues and drive to resolution.
• Build end-to-end ETL pipelines for data ingestion.
• Create data structures for analytics and rollups.
• Develop dashboards using Tableau for analytics and reporting.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
