Job summary
Dyson Institute in Singapore seeks a Lead Cloud Engineer to own the Out of the Box experience for Dyson Connected products, building API and microservices to connect devices and apps. You will run in containers or serverless functions on AWS, driving scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions with modern CI/CD pipelines.
You will collaborate in paired programming, mentor teammates, and advance best practices in cloud architecture, data pipelines, and BI dashboards using Tableau.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cloud Architecture and AWS.
- Proficiency with microservices, serverless computing, containers, and APIs.
- Strong skills in DotNet Core or NodeJS development and Python.
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and monitoring.
- Experience with Tableau and BI tools.
- Experience building production-quality software.
- Familiarity with Agile practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Out of the Box experience for Dyson Connected products.
- Build API and microservices for connected products.
- Develop and deploy microservice and serverless applications on AWS.
- Ensure designs are scalable, robust, secure, and high-performance.
- Collaborate in paired programming and mobbing sessions.
- Mentor teammates and promote best practices.
- Monitor, measure, and resolve production issues.
- Develop and deploy dashboards using Tableau for data analysis.
