Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to own the Out of the Box experience for Dyson Connected products, building APIs and microservices. You will work with Node.js, C# or suitable tech to run in containers or as serverless functions within AWS.

You will collaborate in agile teams, participate in paired programming and contribute to evolving development standards while delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Sound foundation in Cloud Architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker or other virtualization tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-native tech: microservices, serverless, containers, APIs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of DotNet Core or NodeJS development.
• Experience building production-grade software.
• Exposure to automated testing (Unit / Integration).
• Familiarity with Agile practices.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing and deploying micro-service applications.
• Monitoring, measuring and investigating production issues.
• Working in team-based development sessions to share knowledge and responsibilities.
