Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in data science, statistics, maths, CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, modelling and data interpretation.
• Proven ability to deliver rigorous data science projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science projects from problem definition to evaluation.
• Define statistical and ML approaches for business problems.
• Lead data exploration, cleaning, feature engineering and dataset creation.
• Design, implement and optimise ML models with validation and monitoring.
• Develop production‑grade Python code following software practices.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver impact.
• Own delivery, manage risks and changing priorities.
• Mentor junior data scientists with technical guidance.
• Evaluate new research and methodologies for value.
• Utilise cloud ML services to scale solutions.
