Job summary

Bakeri Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled Assistant for daily viennoiserie production under the Head of Production. You will assist in crafting laminated dough items such as croissants and Danish pastries, following recipes and quality standards.

The role involves dough mixing, laminating, sheeting, shaping, proofing, baking and finishing, as well as supervising junior staff, managing stock, and ensuring food safety and hygiene in line with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in professional kitchen or bakery.
• Team player with willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and passionate about baking.
• Assist other team members with duties in addition to assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Head of Production / Chef de Partie in daily viennoiserie production.
• Prepare and bake laminated dough products such as croissants, Danish pastries, and other viennoiserie items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Perform dough mixing, laminating, sheeting, shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing.
• Prepare fillings, toppings, glazes, and other production ingredients.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members during daily operations.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and production areas.
• Report production or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
