Recruit123 PTE. LTD. is hiring an Assay Development Scientist in Singapore to lead the design, optimization, and validation of novel bioanalytical assays for early-stage drug discovery and diagnostic programs.

You will establish platforms (ELISA, multiplex assays, flow cytometry, qPCR) and optimize performance, while drafting SOPs and validation reports, and presenting results to cross-functional teams within a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or related discipline.
2–5 years of hands-on assay development experience in biotech or translational research settings.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and characterize robust biochemical, immunological, and cell-based assays.
Establish assay platforms (ELISA, multiplex immunoassays, flow cytometry, qPCR, enzymatic assays, and reporter assays).
Optimize analytical performance (sensitivity, specificity, dynamic range, reproducibility).
Troubleshoot complex technical roadblocks and maintain rigorous documentation.
Draft SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports; support tech transfer to CROs and analytical teams.
Present findings to cross-functional R&D teams.
