Job summary

HE ELECTRICAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Technician or Lead Technician to support our growing appliance business. You will conduct product testing, provide technical support, coordinate service with partners and overseas factories.

The role emphasizes customer service, issue tracking, and ensuring compliance with Singapore appliance regulations. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential; proficiency in English and Chinese is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Nitec / Higher Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning or related discipline.
• Technician: 2–4 years relevant experience.
• Lead Technician: 5+ years relevant experience, preferably with experience managing service partners or technical teams.
• Experience in household appliances or consumer electronics.
• Strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel or similar systems for tracking and reporting.
• Good communication skills with customers, service partners and overseas factories.
• Good command of English and Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical testing and evaluation of products.
• Identify product installation and performance issues and recommend solutions.
• Handle escalated technical and customer service cases and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate and monitor service partners to ensure quality and timely resolution of customer issues.
• Analyse recurring product issues and recommend improvements.
• Support Customer Service with technical advice, troubleshooting and difficult customer cases.
• Maintain product technical information, service records, issue logs and troubleshooting guides.
• Track product testing, customer cases, service performance and corrective actions.
• Develop a good understanding of Singapore appliance regulations, safety, energy efficiency and product compliance requirements.
• Support Product Marketing with technical information, product training and market feedback.
