Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a hands-on technician to support technical and service issues for home appliances. You will check and troubleshoot product problems, review cases, conduct basic testing and repairs, and advise on repair or replacement while coordinating with service partners, customer service and the factory to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates hold Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or similar qualification, with 2–5 years in technical servicing or troubleshooting; experience

Qualifications

Technical qualification (Nitec to Diploma) required.
2–5 years of hands-on technical/service experience.
Experience with home appliances or consumer electronics is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Check and troubleshoot product and service issues.
Review cases unresolved by service partners or customer service.
Identify whether issues stem from product, installation, usage, transport or servicing.
Carry out product testing and basic repairs where needed.
Advise on repair, replacement or other solutions.
Collaborate with service partners, customer service and factory to resolve issues.
Track open cases and ensure follow-up.
Keep service records, test reports and job sheets updated.
Report major or repeated issues to management.
