Job summary

AIA Singapore is recruiting an Associate Director, Analytics & Automation to lead the Analytics and Automation function within the IAI COE, delivering data analytics, workflow automation and technology solutions across investment governance and controls.

You will lead a team of developers, establish engineering standards, and drive end-to-end delivery of scalable analytics and automation solutions, collaborating with stakeholders across Investments, Governance, Operations, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics, automation, or technology delivery, including experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, APIs, data integration, and the development of analytics, automation, workflow, and reporting solutions.
• Proven experience designing and delivering scalable data pipelines, applications, dashboards, and automation platforms, with best practices in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analytics & Automation team, providing technical guidance, capability development and delivery oversight.
• Act as the technical lead for the function, establishing engineering standards, solution architecture and development best practices.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of analytics and automation solutions, from requirements gathering to implementation and continuous improvement.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, dashboards and workflow automation solutions using Python, SQL, APIs and Power Platform.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions and prioritise development initiatives.
