Job summary
AIA Investment Management is seeking an Associate Director of Analytics & Automation to lead the Analytics & Automation function within the COE. You will deliver data analytics, workflow automation and technology solutions to strengthen governance and controls across investment infrastructure.
You will lead a team of developers, drive automation initiatives, and partner with stakeholders across Investments, Governance, Operations and Technology to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in CS/Software Eng/DS or related field.
- 10+ years in software/data engineering, analytics, automation, or delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, APIs, data integration and analytics platforms.
- Experience designing scalable data pipelines, dashboards and automation.
- Proven ability to balance leadership with hands-on delivery and manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in asset/investment management or regulated financial services is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead Analytics & Automation developers, set engineering standards and governance.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of analytics and automation solutions from requirements to implementation.
- Design and implement reporting, analytics and workflow automation to improve efficiency and controls.
- Develop data pipelines, models and dashboards using Python, SQL, APIs, JavaScript and Power Platform.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions.
