Job summary

AIA Singapore is seeking an investment professional to operate within the CIO Office, driving portfolio analysis, governance, and strategic investment solutions for product growth. You will collaborate with Product, Actuarial, Distribution, Finance, Risk, and Investment teams to align investment strategy with business goals and customer outcomes.

You will translate business needs into robust investment strategies, support governance and regulatory reporting, and help shape product innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in investment, insurance, asset management or financial services.
• Ability to communicate technical investment concepts to both investment and non-investment stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and writing skills for senior management materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct portfolio analysis, performance monitoring, and investment reviews across asset classes.
• Prepare management reports, investment insights, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Support investment governance activities including portfolio monitoring and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to enhancements in investment processes, reporting frameworks, and data management.
• Partner with Product, Actuarial, Distribution, Finance, Risk and other teams for product development and initiatives.
• Develop and assess investment solutions for insurance products balancing return and risk.
• Translate business requirements into investment strategies and portfolio solutions.
• Support end-to-end implementation of investment-related product initiatives with internal and external partners.
• Provide investment insights, training, and communication materials to business teams.
