Job summary
AIA Investment Management is seeking an Associate Director, Analytics & Automation to lead the Analytics & Automation function within the Investment Asset Infrastructure COE. You will drive data analytics, workflow automation, and technology solutions to strengthen investment governance and controls.
You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders across Investments, Governance, Operations, and Technology, and deliver scalable, secure solutions that support evolving investment
Qualifications
- Degree in CS/Software Eng or related.
- 10+ years of software/data engineering, analytics, or tech delivery experience.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Python, SQL, APIs, data integration, analytics, automation, workflow, and reporting.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable data pipelines, dashboards and automation platforms.
- Ability to balance people leadership with hands‑on technical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead Analytics & Automation developers; set engineering standards and governance.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of analytics and automation solutions from requirements to deployment.
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and workflow automation.
- Partner with mandates, governing documents and pre‑trade controls teams to translate requirements into tech solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements across solutions.
