Job summary

SGS Testing & Control Services Singapore is seeking a dynamic Laboratory Manager to lead daily lab operations, ensure quality and accreditation compliance, and drive continual improvement for service excellence.

You will manage staffing, budgets, and equipment, oversee audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable testing services while maintaining a strong safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a scientific field relevant to lab operations.
• Minimum 8 years in laboratory operations, testing, or quality assurance.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience with accredited labs and quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of lab workflows and operational management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall laboratory operations for timely services.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and quality standards.
• Oversee performance, productivity, and resource planning.
• Develop and coach laboratory personnel toward objectives.
• Lead audits and close audit findings promptly.
