Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent Laboratory Cleaning Assistant to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment in Singapore. The role involves washing glassware, disposing of general waste, and performing routine housekeeping across the lab including fume cupboards, ovens, and refrigerators.

You will prepare cleaning solutions, refill solvent bottles, and operate basic equipment while assisting with material preparation for casework.

Qualifications

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware and apparatus, manually and by machine.
• Clear general waste.
• General cleaning and housekeeping of the lab including fume cupboards, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Prepare cleaning solutions (detergents) and refill solvent bottles.
• Operate simple equipment.
• Assist in preparing materials and containers for use in casework.
• Basic administrative duties such as monitoring temperatures of refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean laboratory glassware and apparatus, manually and by machine.
• Clear general waste and maintain a clean lab environment.
• Carry out routine cleaning of fume cupboards, ovens, refrigerators, and floors.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and refill solvents as needed.
• Operate basic lab equipment and assist in material preparation for casework.
• Log temperature readings for refrigerators and freezers as part of daily checks.
