Job summary

GOLDMOON POINT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Baker to join our bakery team. You will prepare and bake a variety of breads and pastries, ensure consistent quality and maintain cleanliness.

Requirements include 2-3 years in bakery, knowledge of dough fermentation and baking techniques, and the ability to lead junior staff. We offer a competitive salary based on experience, plus staff meals and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of bakery experience required.
• Good knowledge of bread and pastry production.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to supervise junior team members.
• Understanding of dough fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other bakery products per recipes and SOPs.
• Handle dough preparation, mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking.
• Maintain product quality, taste, and presentation.
• Monitor daily production and ensure timely readiness.
• Guide and support junior bakers in daily operations.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering.
• Manage wastage and proper ingredient storage.
• Keep bakery and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Comply with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with new product development as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Baker/Management.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries and other bakery products according to recipes and SOPs
• Handle dough preparation, mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing and baking
• Ensure consistent product quality, taste and presentation
• Monitor daily production and ensure products are ready on time
• Guide and support junior bakers in daily operations
• Maintain proper stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering
• Control food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of the bakery, equipment and work areas
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
• Assist with new product development when required
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Baker / Management

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant bakery experience
• Good knowledge of bread and pastry production
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to guide and supervise junior team members
• Good understanding of dough fermentation, proofing and baking techniques
