Job summary

AAMMU'S KITCHEN is a Singapore restaurant seeking a kitchen assistant to support the Chef in daily food preparation and dishwashing. You will help with washing, cutting, marinating and plating, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes in a clean, safe kitchen.

Applicants with basic knife skills and knowledge of Asian cuisine are preferred; freshers are welcome. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is required. Free meals and medical benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic knife skills required.
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine helpful.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel and cut vegetables to prep ingredients.
• Marinate meats and portion ingredients per recipes.
• Prepare basic mocktail garnishes for presentation.
• Assist in cooking simple dishes under Chef supervision.
• Plate and present food attractively to meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
• Follow FIFO labeling and stock checks.
• Monitor stock levels and inform Chef when low.
• Perform dishwashing duties as needed.
• Adhere to SFA hygiene rules and safety protocols.
