Qualifications

• Prior experience in a professional F&B kitchen environment is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage, but not required.
• Able to work a 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow workplace safety procedures at all times in the kitchen.
• Maintain food hygiene standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of assigned workstations.
• Apply FIFO method for food items and kitchen supplies.
• Assist in the preparation of meals.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Perform daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
• Handle various kitchen stations confidently.
• Assist with stock receiving and stock counts.
• Support with ordering of supplies.
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
