Job summary

AGAPE CP HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation and kitchen operations in a busy environment in Singapore. You will assist with washing, peeling, cutting, weighing and portioning ingredients, help cooks, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.

Experience in kitchen hygiene, FIFO stock handling and teamwork is preferred. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, and a positive, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and ingredient handling.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn food hygiene and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform routine kitchen tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and cooperate with kitchen and service teams.
• Maintain orderly work area and manage stock rotation to minimise wastage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry kitchen supplies.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, peeling, cutting, trimming, weighing and portioning ingredients.
• Provide operational support to cooks and chefs in preparing simple dishes and packing takeaway orders.
• Wash, clean and sanitise crockery, utensils and surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Keep kitchen workstations and storage areas clean and organised.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and FIFO stock rotation.
