Job summary

IDEA MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily operations in a non-aircon food and beverage environment. The role involves assisting the head chef, handling ingredients, and maintaining the kitchen spaces.

Applicants must have relevant experience, be able to work in a split shift (10am-2pm and 6pm-10pm), and be willing to work on weekends and public holidays. OT may be required with short notice.

• Relevant experience in kitchen operations.
• Able to get along with team members.
• OT may be required with short notice to cover other colleagues' MC or leaves.
• Split shifts: 10am-2pm and 6pm-10pm.
• Weekend and public holiday work required.
• Non-aircon environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef in daily kitchen operation.
• Cutting, steaming, frying, etc.
• Washing and handling raw materials such as vegetables, seafood, pork, poultry, beef, etc.
• Periodically cleaning & maintenance of fridge, freezer, cooking area, exhaust hood, drainage, etc.
• Periodically review menu with the management and design new promotion dishes.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by the management
