Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on kitchen assistant in Singapore to support daily food preparation and meal service. You will wash, cut, portion and prep ingredients, ensuring timely service and adherence to kitchen procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the kitchen team in food preparation and meal service activities.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, portioning and carrying out other basic preparation tasks.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals according to established kitchen procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and kitchen areas.
• Clean and sanitise utensils, cookware, equipment and work surfaces after use.
• Support the receiving, checking, storage and organisation of food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor the condition and freshness of ingredients and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow established food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Support other kitchen and food service activities as reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
