Job summary

People Puzzle Solutions Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is assisting a French Western restaurant in Changi to hire a Kitchen Helper. The role involves mise en place, basic cooking support, packing orders, and maintaining a clean workstation.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided. You must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen, stand for long periods, and be willing to work shifts including weekends and public holidays. Food safety awareness is preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Physically fit with stamina to stand for long hours.

• Food Safety Level 1 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting and portioning food.
• Assist with cooking and food preparation according to recipes and standards.
• Assemble and pack food orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and work areas.
• Wash utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Store ingredients properly and monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
• Receive and arrange food supplies when required.
• Dispose of waste appropriately.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor.
