Job summary

KWONG WAI SHIU HOSPITAL is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs in meal preparation and cooking for wards. You will help prepare and set up food for delivery, ensuring cleanliness of kitchen tools and compliance with MOH/NEA guidelines.

The role requires basic English comprehension, non-halal kitchen environment, and willingness to work a 5.5-day week with weekend/public holiday shifts. Attractive Leave provisions and medical benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef / cooks in the preparation and cooking of meals.
• Prepare and set up food to be delivered to the wards.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is kept clean and food preparation complies with MOH/NEA regulations.
