WOLA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs with ingredient prep and daily kitchen operations at our Singapore location. You will wash, cut, portion, and prepare vegetables, meat, and seafood, and assist with mise en place before service.

The role requires basic knife skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Weekend and public holiday shifts are expected, with a 6-day work week and shift rotations including night hours.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or F&B experience preferred.
• Chinese restaurant kitchen experience is an advantage.
• Basic knife and food-preparation skills preferred.
• Applicants without kitchen experience who are willing to learn may be considered for night-shift vacancies.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good personal hygiene and willingness to follow food safety procedures.
• Comfortable working weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist chefs with daily ingredient preparation and kitchen operations.

• Carry out mise en place before restaurant service.
• Replenish ingredients and supplies during busy service periods.
• Assist with basic cooking and food plating when required.
• Receive and store ingredients safely.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and support proper stock rotation.
• Clean and maintain kitchen workstations, equipment and utensils.
• Assist with kitchen opening and closing procedures.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen operating procedures.
• Support other kitchen sections when required.

Working Hours

• 6 days work week
• Full Shift: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (2-hour break)
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (1-hour break)
• Rest days according to roster
