Job summary

JWS CUISINE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated kitchen prep cook to support hot and cold food production. You will follow SOPs, prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and assist with delivery and catering prep while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

This role requires flexibility (rotate night shift), willingness to learn, and the ability to work well solo or in a team. Prior kitchen experience and Food Safety Level 1 certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Prepared and changed foods per SOP requirements.
• Must be able to handle both cold and hot food prep.
• Follows SOP for ingredients and finished products.
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen.
• Reports to Kitchen Lead and works with team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle cold food.
• Prepare hot food.
• Prepare raw ingredients per SOP.
• Prepare cooked/partial finished products per SOP.
• Assemble products per SOP.
• Food preparation for delivery/catering guests.
• Food preparation for outlet orders.
• Package food per SOP for delivery.
• Maintain high level of hygiene standards.
• Maintain equipment and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist to manageInventory levels.
• Assist to manage ordering inside facility.
• Follow company and location policies.
• Reports to Kitchen Lead.

Job description

Working Days : 4 days off per month

Working hours : 11am - 11pm (10 hours per day, 2 hours break)

( Rotate Night Shift Required )

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Prepare and handle preparation of cold food
• 2. Prepare and handle preparation of hot food
• 3. Prepare raw ingredients as per SOP
• 4. Prepare cooked and partial finished product as per SOP
• 5. Assembling product as per SOP
• 6. Food Preparation for Delivery/Catering Guests
• 7. Food Preparation for quantity ordered by the outlets
• 8. Packaging of food as per SOP for delivery purpose
• 9. Maintain a high level of hygiene standards
• 10. Maintain equipment cleanliness and overall kitchen cleanliness
• 11. Assist to Manage Inventory level inside the facility
• 12. Assist to Manage Ordering inside the facility
• 13. Follow the rules and regulations of the company policy and facility location policy
• 14. Reports to Kitchen Lead

Preferred Skills

• 1. Previous work experience inside Kitchen would be a plus point
• 2. Chopping/Cutting/Slicing of ingredients (Vegetables and Protein)
• 3. Familiar with South Asian cuisine would be a place point
• 4. Willingness to learn
• 5. High level of initiative
• 6. Able to work well as a single individual and as a team player
• 7. Food Safety Level 1 is a must
