Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is recruiting for a School Kitchen Assistant to clean and maintain school kitchens, prep areas, stoves, work surfaces and refrigerators, receive and check grocery deliveries, organise and store groceries, and prepare ingredients for practical lessons.

The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous organisation, the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment, and being a reliable team player.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain school kitchens, preparation areas, stoves, work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Receive and check grocery deliveries against orders and receipts.
• Organise and store groceries appropriately.
• Prepare and portion ingredients and equipment for practical lessons.
• Conduct stocktaking and ensure equipment is returned, cleaned and properly stored.
• Assist with accounting for and securing sharp equipment such as knives and peelers.
• Organise kitchen equipment and maintain cupboards in good order.
• Identify faulty equipment and report items requiring repair or replacement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

20 months (Jan 2027 to Dec 2028)

Actual Deployment Period 10 months per year:

2027: 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Oct 2027

2028: 1 Jan 2028 to 31 Oct 2028

Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 1.00pm_(flexible hours depending on school needs), inclusive of 15minutes break

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
