Job summary

TUNG LOK CATERING is seeking a kitchen assistant to assist with meal ingredient preparation, washing, cleaning, peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables, poultry and meat. You will stir and heat soups and sauces and ensure all kitchen areas and equipment are clean and ready for use.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and work split shifts including weekends and public holidays. A passion for food and teamwork is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Able to perform split shifts and work on weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
