Job summary

DYNAMIC SAFETY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to maintain cleanliness in Food Labs and school kitchens. You will assist with meal prep support, manage cleanups after lessons, and ensure proper storage and waste disposal.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, restocking utensils, and helping teachers and students during practical lessons while ensuring food safety standards and workspace organisation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in a school environment.
• Relevant experience in Nutrition & Food Science laboratories and inventory management preferred.
• Possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate and submit attainment to the school before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain Food Labs/Kitchens: wipe, sweep, mop, and empty bins.
• Refill soap and keep sinks clean and hygienic.
• Check and arrange cutlery, utensils and equipment at workstations.
• Receive daily food deliveries and distribute items to teachers.
• Assist teachers in preparing ingredients, utensils and workstations.
• Support teachers and students during lessons, replenishing items and assisting with kitchen equipment.
• Clean and organise the kitchen after lessons, including proper food storage and waste disposal.
• Ensure cookers and sinks are clean and switched off after use.
• Manage kitchen towels and aprons, including washing, drying and folding into sets.

Check and arrange cutlery, utensils and equipment at workstations.

Receive daily food deliveries and distribute food items to respective teachers.

Assist teachers in preparing ingredients, utensils and workstations for practical lessons.

Support teachers and students during lessons, including replenishing items and assisting with kitchen equipment.

Clean and organise the kitchen after lessons, including proper foodstorage and disposal of waste.

Check that cookers, sinks and kitchen areas are clean and properly switched off after use.

Manage kitchen towels and aprons, including washing, drying and folding into sets for each class

Requirements

• Preferably at least 1 year of working experience in a schoolenvironment.
• Relevant experience in Nutrition & Food Science laboratories andinventory management preferred.
• Possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 Certificate.
• Submit the Certificate of Attainment to the school before commencement of work
