Job summary

INITIA GROUP is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the culinary team in preparing high-quality meals for our restaurant and cafe. You will follow directions from the head chef and collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent food and service.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field, at least 3 years in a similar position, the ability to work well alone and in a team, and a strong commitment to safety and sanitation with flexible hours.

We are looking for a talented Chef/Cook to be our Junior Sous Chef. If you are currently a cook or Chef De Partie (CDP), welcome to challenge yourself by joining and supporting our culinary team in creating delightful meals for our restaurant/cafe. This is an important job in any kitchen that comes with a lot of independence. He/She will be responsible for preparing high-quality food that meets the head chef's standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Following directions provided by the head chef.
• Collaborating with the whole culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
• Keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary.
• Stocktaking and ordering supplies.
• Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
