Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Must have 3 years of software testing experience with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca and automation script development.
• Experience in designing test cases and developing reusable automated test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience in using SQL and basic scripting.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and automation best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, developers, business users, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca for desktop, web, and mobile apps.
• Develop reusable and modular automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing based on requirements.
• Prepare test cases, test data, artefacts, and RTM for automation.
• Execute automated test scripts, analyse results, and track defects to resolution.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business users to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and documentation.
• Support UAT and overall test activities for timely delivery and smooth transition to production.
• Provide guidance and support to other testers on automation practices and tools.

• Execute automated test scripts, analyse results, and identify and track defects through resolution;
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business users to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage;
• Maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and documentation;
• Support UAT and overall test activities to ensure timely delivery and smooth transition of tested solutions to production;
• Where required, provide guidance and support to other testers on automation practices and tools.
