Job summary

OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Scrum Master to lead delivery for software teams. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and ensure a well-groomed backlog with clear acceptance criteria.

The role requires 3 years IT experience, strong Jira/Confluence, cloud knowledge and a proven track record delivering releases in Scrum or Kanban. You will work with cross-functional groups to ensure on-time, quality product delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years IT experience, with at least 2 years in Scrum Master or delivery lead roles in software teams.
• Hands-on technical background preferred (developer, QA, DevOps or support).
• Proven track record delivering software releases in Scrum or Kanban.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Hands-on with Jira and Confluence (or Azure DevOps Boards).
• Active Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach the team and Product Owner on Scrum, Kanban and Agile principles.
• Help Product Owner keep a well-groomed, prioritised backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Track and improve team health using velocity, cycle time, burndown and sprint predictability.
• Identify and remove impediments, escalating where needed.
• Own release planning and delivery timelines for 1-2 squads.
• Manage scope, dependencies, risks, issues and change requests (RAID log).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams: QA, DevOps, security, architecture, business stakeholders.
• Report delivery status, metrics and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Support go-live readiness, cutover planning and post-release reviews.
