Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Scrum Master/Delivery Lead to guide 1–2 software squads in an Agile environment. You will work with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, security, and architecture to ensure timely releases and high-quality software.

The role requires hands-on Agile coaching, strong backlog management, and the ability to manage risks, dependencies, and RAID logs. Cloud familiarity and DevOps mindset are essential for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master, delivery lead or similar in a software engineering team.
• Prior hands-on technical background (developer, QA automation, DevOps or support engineer) is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering software releases in Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Hands-on with Jira and Confluence (or Azure DevOps Boards).
• Active Scrum Master certification: CSM, PSM I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach the team and Product Owner on Scrum, Kanban and Agile principles.
• Help the Product Owner keep a well-groomed, prioritised backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Track and improve team health using velocity, cycle time, burndown and sprint predictability.
• Identify and remove impediments, escalating where needed.

• Support go-live readiness, cutover planning and post-release reviews
• Understand the solution architecture and spot technical risks or dependencies early
• Work with engineers on story breakdown, technical estimation and technical debt prioritisation
• Monitor CI/CD pipeline health, build quality and deployment frequency
• Promote DevOps practices: automation, test coverage, code review and Definition of Done
