Job summary

RECLAIMS ENTERPRISE PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project execution within construction projects. You will interpret contract documents, assist in tendering, and manage contract administration to ensure commercial accuracy.

You will liaise with main contractors and suppliers, prepare awards and certificates, analyze costs, and monitor variations to keep projects on budget and schedule. A diploma or higher qualification and bilingual proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in QS or related field.
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying within Singapore construction firms.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents and drawings to support project execution.
• Assist tendering by measuring quantities and breaking down costs for bids.
• Coordinate with main contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to align activities.
• Prepare contract awards, payment certificates, BOQs, and related documents.
• Assist final accounts and commercial settlements for financial closure.
• Identify and evaluate variation works to manage scope changes.
• Analyze project costing with detailed breakdowns for budgeting and tracking.
• Maintain productivity and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents and drawings accurately to support project execution
• Assist in the tendering process by performing measurements and breaking down costs for bids
• Communicate effectively with main contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to coordinate activities
• Prepare contract awards, payment certifications, bills of quantities, and other contract-related documents for contractors and suppliers
• Assist in final account and commercial settlement of project accounts to ensure accurate financial closure
• Identify and evaluate variation works to manage project scope changes
• Analyze project costing with detailed breakdowns to support budgeting and financial tracking
• Manage and complete assigned duties within established timelines to meet project schedules
• Maintain strong attention to detail while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying (QS) within Singapore construction firms
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients
• Experience with earthworks is advantageous

Other Information

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with one full Saturday per month
