Job summary

XINDA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender submissions. You will handle progress claims, VOs, final accounts, and cost control across projects in Singapore.

The role requires review of drawings, BQ, and contractual documents, with site measurements and collaboration with site teams. Independent work and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS or related discipline.
• Experience in the Singapore construction industry is preferred.
• Familiar with BQ, progress claims, VO and final accounts.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with site/project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-off, cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Carry out site measurement and verify actual work done.
• Prepare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare subcontractor progress payments and monitor project costs.
• Track project budget, costs, variations and contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with the project/site team when required.
• Maintain proper records and supporting documents for claims, VO and final accounts.
• Assist in tendering, procurement and cost comparison.
• Ensure timely submission and follow-up of claims and commercial documents.
• Perform other QS and project-related duties as assigned by the company.
