Job summary

SCT ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage cost estimation, take-offs, tender submissions and financial control on projects in Singapore.

You will review drawings, bills of quantities and contracts, prepare progress claims, VO, final accounts and monitor project costs in coordination with site teams. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with hands-on experience in the Singapore construction industry,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in the Singapore construction industry preferred.
• Familiar with take-off, BQ, VO and final accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with site/project teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in architectural, wet trades, structural or general building works is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-off, cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and Bills of Quantities.
• Carry out site measurements and verify actual work.
• Prepare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare subcontractor progress payments and monitor project costs.
• Track project budget, costs, variations and contractual matters.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project/site team when required.
• Maintain records and documents for claims, VO and final accounts.
• Assist in tendering, procurement and cost comparison.
• Ensure timely submission and follow-up of claims and commercial documents.
• Perform other QS and project-related duties as assigned by the company.
