The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in quantity surveying and have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Excel is required, and good command of English and Mandarin is preferred.

Job Summary

Support senior quantity surveyors in managing daily quantity surveying and contract administration tasks within Singapore’s construction industry, ensuring accurate cost control, documentation, and effective collaboration with site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior quantity surveyors in executing daily quantity surveying and contract administration tasks to support project delivery
• Prepare progress claims, payment responses, and variation orders accurately to facilitate timely financial processing
• Perform quantity take-offs, measurements, and basic costing to support budgeting and cost estimation
• Contribute to budgeting and cost control activities to monitor project expenditures and maintain financial targets
• Review subcontractor claims and quotations to ensure compliance with contract terms and accuracy
• Liaise effectively with site teams and subcontractors to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues
• Support tender preparation and procurement processes to assist in securing project contracts
• Maintain organized documentation and reports to ensure project records are accurate and accessible
• Execute additional quantity surveying tasks as required to support project objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or degree in quantity surveying or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of quantity surveying experience in the Singapore construction industry
• Basic knowledge of contracts and construction processes essential for effective project support
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 8 AM to 6 PM, with possible half-day work on urgent Saturdays
