Job summary

Well Established Infrastructure Pipeline Construction Company in Tuas, Singapore is seeking a Project Planning & Execution lead to oversee civil engineering and infrastructure initiatives from initiation to completion. The role requires developing schedules, method statements, and resource plans, while monitoring progress and ensuring timely submissions of essential documents.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure projects, strong site supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant civil/infrastructure project experience.
• Ability to lead planning, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Experience with contracts, budgets, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop schedules, method statements, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Submit shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Supervise site operations and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and authorities.
• Review contracts, budgets, and variation claims.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities on contractual matters.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Working hours: 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday), 8am - 12pm (Saturday)

Job Scope

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead and manage civil engineering and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project work schedules, method statements, and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures where required.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.

Site & Construction Management

• Supervise site operations and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
• Oversee construction activities including structural, drainage, sewerage, utility, and associated civil works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

Contract & Commercial Management

• Review contracts, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and variation claims.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and certify work progress payments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on contractual matters.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of technical and operational issues.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and project records.
• Ensure all works comply with local regulatory authorities and statutory requirements.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
