YIJIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join the M&E construction team. Training will be provided focusing on engineering drawings, site coordination and M&E installation works.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The role involves reading drawings, coordinating with现场人员, and supporting project managers with daily duties while gaining hands-on experience on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome and no construction experience required.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in M&E construction.
• Must be comfortable at construction sites and working hours.
• Able to communicate in English to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with daily site coordination and installation works.
• Learn to read engineering drawings, AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.
• Assist in monitoring site progress, manpower, materials, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with supervisors, workers, suppliers and other project parties.
• Prepare site records, progress updates and project documentation.
• Learn about piping, ducting, equipment and supporting structures.
• Assist the Project Manager and senior engineers with assigned duties.

YIJIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is looking for motivated Junior Project Engineers to join our M&E project team. Successful candidates will receive guidance and on-the-job training in engineering drawings, materials, site coordination and M&E installation works.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with daily site coordination and installation works.

• Learn to read engineering drawings, AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.

• Assist in monitoring site progress, manpower, materials, quality and safety.

• Coordinate with supervisors, workers, suppliers and other project parties.

• Prepare site records, progress updates and project documentation.

• Learn about piping, ducting, equipment and supporting structure installation.

• Assist the Project Manager and senior engineers with assigned duties.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

• Fresh graduates and candidates without construction experience are welcome.

• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.

• Willing to learn and develop a career in M&E construction.

• Must be comfortable working at construction sites and following project working hours.

• Able to work overtime, at night or on weekends when required by the project schedule.

• Responsible, hardworking, detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

• Able to communicate in English to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking workers and review bilingual project documents.

Training and guidance will be provided. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experience.
