Job summary

APP Engineering Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based M&E contractor delivering integrated mechanical and electrical engineering across commercial, infrastructure, institutional, residential and industrial projects. We are seeking experienced Project Engineers / Senior Project Engineers to join our teams in Electrical, PSG, ACMV or Fire Protection specialisations.

The role involves project management, site coordination, documentation, and cost evaluation to ensure on-time handover.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services.
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with design and installation knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of tender costing and cost estimation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project management for the respective M&E service (Electrical, PSG, ACMV, or Fire Protection).
• Coordination and supervision of site installation, testing and commissioning.
• Documentation of method statements and work procedures.
• Monitor site construction activities and programmes to ensure on-time completion.
• Schedule and monitor activities, liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Support progress claims and subcontractors' payments; assist cost evaluation.

APP Engineering Pte Ltd is an established M&E contractor in Singapore, providing integrated Mechanical & Electrical engineering services across a diverse range of projects, including Commercial, Infrastructure, Institutional, Residential and Industrial developments.

As we continue to grow our project teams, we are looking for experienced Project Engineers / Senior Project Engineers in the following M&E service specialisations:

• Electrical

• Plumbing, Sanitary & Gas (PSG)

• ACMV

• Fire Protection

The successful candidate will be considered and assigned according to their relevant M&E specialisation and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Project management involving the respective M&E service – Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary & Gas (PSG), ACMV or Fire Protection

• Project coordination and supervision of site installation, testing and commissioning

• Documentation of method statements and work procedures

• Review and monitor site construction activities and programmes to ensure work completion as scheduled

• Schedule and monitor work programmes and activities to ensure on-time handover of work, and liaise with suppliers/vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials

• Work assessment for progress claims and subcontractors' payments

• Evaluation, cost estimation and analysis for the respective M&E service

• Preparation of design and construction drawings

• Liaise with all parties involved in the project, including Local Authorities, Consultants, Architects, Main Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers

• Attend site meetings and inspections

About you

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position, with relevant design and installation knowledge preferred

• Relevant project experience in at least one of the following M&E services: Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary & Gas (PSG), ACMV or Fire Protection

• Knowledge of tender costing, evaluation and cost estimation for the relevant M&E service will be an added advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, innovative and results-oriented

• Ability to work independently in a challenging and demanding environment
