Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a project coordinator with a mechanical engineering background to manage projects on site with minimal supervision, attend client and consultant meetings, and ensure safety and QA/QC compliance.

You will prepare progress reports, coordinate daily site activities, control costs, and document project records. The role is 5 days a week (8:30am–5:30pm), based at Jalan Kilang Timor or current project sites in Jurong or Woodlands, with training

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; able to read construction drawings.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Attend meetings with clients or consultants and internal project meetings.
• Ensure adherence to SWP and implement risk controls.
• Resolve site problems proactively.
• Prepare project progress and other reports on time.
• Follow up on QA/QC matters and document defects.
• Coordinate daily activities of workers and ensure proper execution.
• Conduct daily checks on progress, housekeeping and safety with safety personnel.
• Assist in cost control by reducing wastage and tool usage.
• Request materials and document project progress and damages.
• Ensure proper project documentation including email communications.
• Any other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Basic: $2,700 - $3,800
Working Hours: 5 Days Mon-Fri (830am to 530pm)
Location: Jalan Kilang Timor, Redhill (Office) / Current project -Jurong or Woodlands Area

Responsibilities

• Able to manage project with minimal supervision;
• Attends external project kick-off meetings, meetings with clients or consultants as well as technical and co‑ordination meetings, project meetings and internal project closure meeting;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; and implement risk control measures;
• Resolves site problems proactively in a timely manner;
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co‑ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
• Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel;
• Assists in cost control by reducing materials wastage, usage of tools and equipment, etc;
• Request and initiate orders of materials required for projects;
• Documentation on project progress and damage;
• Ensures proper project documentation including email communication;
• Any other related duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with working experience.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office, MS Project and able to read construction drawing.
