Job summary

Cubic Corporation in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Project Accountant to support the Project Accounting team with day-to-day financial activities for APAC projects and services contracts. You will work closely with project accountants and senior staff, handling data entry, reconciliations and reporting while learning broader project accounting functions.

The role emphasizes accurate transactional processing under supervision, with escalation of non-routine matters to senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of accounting or project finance experience preferred.
• Good understanding of debits/credits, accruals and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and transactional support to project accounting team.
• Assist with preparation of project financials, reports and schedules.
• Set up and maintain project numbers, budgets and ETCs in ERP.
• Support preparation of project billings with contracts and teams.
• Assist with journal entries, accruals and intercompany recharges.
• Prepare monthly project reports and variance analysis.
