Job summary

Koch is seeking an Accountant in Singapore to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance and business support across the APAC region. The role involves month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliation, project profitability analysis and collaboration with shared service centers and external providers.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, about 3 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and teamwork abilities to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical knowledge of revenue, project accounting, intercompany transactions.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of assigned entities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, including accruals, revenue and cost adjustments.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving outstanding items.
• Analyze the financial statements for discrepancies and provide commentary for forecast vs actual & month over month change in account balances.
• Track project revenue and costs and review project profitability.
• Monitor shared-service center activities and follow up or escape unresolved operational issues.
• Investigate intercompany mismatches and coordinate resolution with counterparties.
• Prepare and coordinate supporting documentation for cross-border payments and receipts.
• Work with external service providers, shared service centers and local stakeholders to support timely and accurate statutory and filing activities.
• Participate in process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
• Provide other ad hoc data analysis and support.
